Originally from Buffalo, NY, Dr. Sean Brown loves being able to help others with their oral and overall health. His favorite thing about his job is that he gets to work in a family-based practice where quality of care is the most important aspect of what we do. With many years of experience, we’re happy to have him join our practice and he looks forward to helping you create your dream smile!
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Although both of his parents are dentists, Sean did not decide to pursue dentistry until he was in college. He spent summer breaks shadowing his mother as she volunteered at a free dental clinic. It was then that he witnessed just how significant an impact the profession can have on the lives of others, and he came to love dentistry. Since then, he’s worked hard to improve his skills and expertise so that he can provide the same level of amazing dental care that he saw back then.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Brown studied at West Virginia University for his undergraduate degree before attending the University of Buffalo for dental school. He completed his AEGD residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and then worked at a private practice for three years. He’s undergone countless hours of continuing education in surgical procedures at the Pikos Institute and other courses through SPEAR Education. He’s also a proud member of several professional organizations, including the:

- Academy of General Dentistry
- American Academy of Implant Dentistry
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Away from the office, Dr. Brown lives with his wife, who is also a dentist. He enjoys hobbies like hiking, golfing, trying new restaurants, being with family and friends, and visiting the beach. One thing he is proud of is that he’s a third-generation dentist, and he’s loving every minute of it.
